I wrote my first book in elementary school about the crazy future of 2010. I won an award for it and got to spend a weekend at the University of Illinois meeting real authors. It has been my dream ever since to write books. And that’s what I get to do now! It's so fun. Words have always been my favorite things (after humans), so I feel especially lucky that I get to play with them in my work.
